Kevin P. Gallagher, Director of the GDP Center at Boston University, was recently quoted in an article for Citywire Americas. The article, entitled “Soccer, Space Stations & Sugar: How China is Moving in On LatAm,” discusses how China is making its mark in Latin America as a major trade and investment partner. The quoted portion is as follows: 

China is already the most important export market for South America and the second largest for the LAC region overall, according to the University of Boston’s Global Development Policy Center.
