FitRec Swim School
Please check back on December 1st for more information on our winter sessions and their registration dates.
We have re-designed our program to bring you the highest quality swimming lessons we can offer, in the most consistent way possible. Lessons will be session-based spanning each academic semester. Lessons are progressive, building on the skills previously introduced with the goal of increasing skill retention and preventing plateaus. Water safety education topics will be woven into each class. This will ensure our swimmers are gaining both swimming skills and learning how to stay safe around water.
The integrated Water Safety topics are from the American Red Cross’s Longfellow’s WHALE Tales Water Safety for Children. These lessons empower children to make decisions around the water that will keep them safe while having fun. For additional information on Longfellow’s WHALE Tales or additional resources to reinforce this education at home, see here.
