Rentals
The Sailing Pavilion currently offers kayaks, paddleboards, and sailboats for rent to the BU community and the public. Each is provided on a first come first serve basis. The purchase of a day pass unlocks access to any of the above items on the day-of-purchase only. We do not accept reservations.
Kayaks
We have eight sit-on-top kayaks, a mixture of tandem and solo kayaks. No previous experience is required. Our kayaks are sit-on-top style.
Stand Up Paddleboards
We have four Bic paddleboards for rent. No previous experience is required.
Sailboats
We offer five RS Zests for rent. Prior experience is mandatory for the use of our sailboats. Please note that sailboats will not be rented when gusts reach 17mph and/or when constant speeds reach 14mph. Sailboats will also not be rented when sailing classes are running.
Passes
Buy a day, month, or season pass, get fitted for a life jacket, and be on your way for a great time on the Charles River.
