Junior Lifeguarding
There will be no Junior Lifeguarding camp in Summer 2025
Ages 13 – 15
Fees: Member – $625, Non-Member – $750
For campers that want to spend their day at the pool, the Junior Lifeguards group offers just that. In accordance with American Red Cross guidelines, campers will receive instruction in a variety of water safety techniques and skills, as well as offering them the opportunity to shadow lifeguards on duty. The program will introduce campers to lifesaving skills and is designed to prepare them for a full lifeguarding course at age 15. As part of the course, campers will be assessed with a written and practical exam conducted by certified American Red Cross instructors. Campers who pass both exams will receive Basic Water Rescue, First Aid, and Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED certifications from the American Red Cross. Weather permitting, lunch will be eaten outside each day.
