You’re In! A welcome to our newest Terriers

Congratulations! We are so excited to welcome you to our Boston University community. We believe that BU provides great opportunities for you to follow the ideas and passions that make you come alive.

We are the Dean of Students office. What do we do? A little bit of everything — and if we don’t do it, we can direct you to the people who do.

In our offices, you’ll meet staff committed to promoting your growth and representing your concerns. We advise student organizations, plan ways to help you acclimate to the University, and set and regulate standards for student conduct. We also coordinate the University’s residence life offerings, creating the community you will live in while here. If you need assistance during your University career due to a disability, we also oversee the office who can help you with accommodations.

Here are the offices and programs that we are in charge of:

Community Service Center | Residence Life | Orientation | Judicial Affairs | Disability Services | Student Activities | Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground | Parents Program

You can meet our professional staff here.

You will hear a presentation from one of our Deans if you attend an on-campus Open House program, and some of them will even travel to some off-campus Admitted Students events as well! If you have any questions as you make your decision, please reach out:

Congratulations again! We can’t wait to meet you!
