Dean’s Open Office Hours

Need to talk? Want to meet a Dean? Wonder what a Dean does all day?

You’re in luck: Dean Elmore and his staff will be hosting open office hours twice a week every week.

Members of the Dean of Students’ office staff (including several Assistant and Associate Deans and sometimes even Dean Elmore himself!) are available on Wednesdays from 1-5pm in the Dean of Students office (775 Commonwealth Avenue, Third Floor.) We try to make sure there are at least three members of the staff available at all times during that time span. 

Dean Elmore will be bringing back his GSU “surfboard” hours on Fridays from 8:30-10am. Where’s the surfboard? It is what we call the narrow table between City Convenience and Starbucks in the GSU Food Court. If a scheduling conflict prevents him from holding his surfboard hours, we will tweet out that information on the @BU_FYI account.

So if you have any concerns or questions, or you just want to kick back and chat, make sure to stop by during these times. Remember, you do not need to schedule an appointment to come. You also do not need a reason other than just wanting to say hello! See you in the office!
