The Center for Teaching and Learning
The Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) partners with faculty to cultivate teaching that is inclusive, centered on student learning, and guided by research. We offer individualized consultations, workshops, seminars, and institutes designed to promote critical reflection and experimentation in teaching, including the purposeful use of technologies.
Faculty Assembly/Faculty Council
The Faculty Assembly is the representative body of faculty who are of professorial rank (excluding adjunct, visiting, emeritus) or lecturer or instructor rank, with at least half time appointment. The Faculty Assembly meets at least twice during the academic year.
The Faculty Council is the representative body of the Faculty Assembly at Boston University. The Faculty Council members are members of the Faculty Assembly who are elected to represent their individual school or college, either as a representative or as an alternate. Each school or college is responsible for holding its own election for representatives and alternates.

The Faculty and Staff Assistance Office (FSAO) is a resource where you or your immediate family members can find help. They provide free and confidential support, problem-solving, or coaching to address your work or personal challenges.

The Gender-Affirming Product Program (GAPP) was created to support TGNCI/non-cis BU students by providing them with a free gender-affirming product of their choice.
This program is affiliated with the Queer Activist Collective student group and has been created and led entirely by TGNCI/non-cis BU students.
