IRB Review

BU Medical Campus/Boston Medical Center Institutional Review Board (IRB)

IRB approval is required for all research involving human subjects, and IRB review is the cornerstone of our Human Research Protection Program. IRB staff are readily available to help researchers prepare IRB applications or deal with technical problems involving the IRB application software. Click here for more information.

In addition, staff in our Clinical Research Resources Office (CRRO) are available for one-on-one consultations or training sessions with groups of researchers to help prepare an IRB application or respond to an IRB conditional approval or other decision.
