WBUR Welcomes CFA Dean Harvey Young as New Board Member
BU College of Fine Arts Dean Harvey Young is one of eight new board members to WBUR.
Boston University College of Fine Arts Dean Harvey Young, a cultural historian and professor of English, is one of the three newest members of WBUR’s Community Advisory Board (CAB)! CAB is composed of Boston-area community and business leaders dedicated to supporting and advancing the mission of WBUR and its affiliated stations, while representing the different voices and faces of our community.
As a member of CAB, Dean Young’s contributions include reviewing programming goals established by WBUR, the service provided by WBUR, the significant policy decisions rendered by WBUR, and assessing whether the programming and other policies of the station are meeting the specialized and cultural needs of the communities served by WBUR.
