By Car
From the West
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 18 (Brighton/Cambridge). Pay toll, then follow the signs for Cambridge through the first light. Turn right at the next light, keeping the Doubletree Guest Suites Hotel on the right. Take Soldiers Field Road/Storrow Drive to the Kenmore Square Exit and follow Local Directions below.
From the North
Travel South on Route 95 to Route 93. Take Exit 26 onto Storrow Drive westbound to the Kenmore Square Exit (left exit). Use the right-hand side of the exit ramp for Kenmore Square. Follow Local Directions below.
From the South
Take Route 93/Route 3 North to Exit 26 (Storrow Drive/Back Bay). Go west on Storrow Drive to the Kenmore Square Exit and follow Local Directions below.
Local Directions
From the Kenmore Square Exit of Storrow Drive: At the first set of lights, turn right onto Beacon Street. The road forks here; the right fork is Bay State Road. The left fork takes you into Kenmore Square; in the Square, bear right onto Commonwealth Avenue. The College of Fine Arts is at 855 Commonwealth Avenue.
Parking
There is metered parking along Commonwealth Avenue and many of the side streets.
By Public Transportation
By Train
Boston University is located along the B line branch of the MBTA Green Line. From any Green Line T station stop downtown, take a Green Line Outbound “B” train toward Boston College, and exit the train at the Boston University West T stop, located directly across the street from the College of Fine Arts. From any Green Line T station on the B line west of Boston University, take a Green Line Inbound train toward Government Center, and exit the train at the Boston University West T station.
By Bus
Boston University is located along the route of the 57 bus, which travels from Watertown Yard to Kenmore Station via Newton Corner and Brighton Center. Traveling either Inbound or Outbound, Amory St. is the nearest stop to the College of Fine Arts.

By Air
Logan Airport is located approximately eight miles from Boston University. A taxi costs approximately $35 and may take from 25 minutes to an hour to reach the University, depending on traffic. The subway from the airport takes about an hour.
Taking the T (MBTA Subway) from the airport
Board the free Airport Shuttle Bus, which stops at all terminals, and ride to the Airport T station on the Blue Line. One subway fare ($2) is required for the rest of the trip, but can be purchased at the entrance to the Airport station. Take a Blue Line Inbound train toward Government Center. Upon reaching Government Center, transfer to a Green Line Outbound “B” train toward Boston College. Exit the train at the Boston University West T station, located directly across the street from the College of Fine Arts.
