Boston’s Largest Net-Zero Building Tackles Carbon Emissions

According to a Boston Report, buildings make up almost 70% of the city’s carbon emissions largely due to the energy needed for heating and cooling. Boston University’s new Center for Computing and Data Sciences reveals itself as a solution to the problem by utilizing renewable energy and geothermal science. 

Dennis Carlberg, Associate Vice President of Sustainability at BU, explains to WBUR how such a project works and how it can help other projects eliminate carbon emissions.
