Frederick S. Pardee (Questrom ’54, Hon. ’06) recently donated $25 million to the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, five years after he donated the same amount to the school that bears his name. This money will help support a stand-alone building for the Pardee School, which has 750 undergraduate students, 150 graduate students, 40 full-time faculty, and 150 affiliated faculty and includes the Center for the Study of Asia, the Center for the Study of Europe, the Latin American Studies program, the African Studies Center, the Institute for the Study of Muslim Societies & Civilizations, and the Global Development Policy Center.
Pardee originally donated to BU to help provide more global studies options for students. With his donation, he is one of the University’s largest supporters. You can read more at BU Today.
