Celine Wang

I am a PhD student and received my BA in Physics and Astronomy from Smith College, a member of the Five College Astronomy Department. Prior to joining Boston University, I conducted follow-up observations of Transiting Exoplanet Satellite Survey (TESS) candidates at Smith and analyzed gravitational-wave sources–particularly compact-object binaries–with the LIGO Scientific Collaboration. In my free time, you can find me involved in climate activism, doing standup comedy at local open mics, learning to bike my way around the city, and raving about future prospects of the MBTA (public transit system in Greater Boston).
