  1. People struggling with media addiction should look into groups like MAA(Media Addicts Anonymous) and ITAA(Internet and Technology Addicts Anonymous)

  2. I really appreciated this piece! As a data science student, I could understand how apps are designed to shorten our attention span. Your switch to a flip phone is a good reminder that we don’t have to accept constant distraction as the norm. I find it inspiring to see someone push back and find healthier ways to live alongside today’s technology.

  3. I really relate to this piece. As a computer science student, I spend so much time around technology that it feels odd when I don’t have my phone or laptop with me. Honestly, it is hard not to get distracted on my Phone, and I waste way too much time on pointless apps. Saying that, I highly doubt I could completely switch to a flip phone; however, I think it’s really impressive that you were able to do it. It’s honestly commendable, and reading this makes me reflect on how much time I’m losing without even realising it. Thanks for sharing your experience, it definitely gave me a lot to think about.
