  1. Recently discovered his videos on Facebook and have been enjoying them immensely – and have tried a few of his recipes already. What a treasure he is!

  2. Thank you I love Jacques and have new following him for years. His art, his communication when he teaches is exemplary. I have learned so much from him. Passing as much as I can on to my daughter.
Hugs and Happy Cooking to All. ❤️❤️

  3. I truly fell in Love with Jacques cooking while watching him on PBS by himself and with Julia Childs when I was a child. I have always loved cooking and was mesmerized by them. They were and are both icons in this world of cooking! Just as we grow and learn as we age, it is important to learn from those that have been around longer than we. They have important lessons to teach us. Jacque is one of those people. He will and has been my cooking idol. I’ve read his books and I think anyone who loves his cooking and him as a person should.

Happy Cooking Jacque, thank you for all your lessons and you keep teaching, we never ever stop learning.
I look forward to purchasing your new cookbook, thank you!!!

  4. Great article !
Jacque Pepin has done so much from humble beginnings that a person could learn from that alone. However, he has taught food preparation and technique in a way that even a novice can do.
I use many of his recipes and techniques and I would advise others that either want to learn how to cook or up their game to do likewise.
Thank you Jacque Pepin for your dedication in helping the world be a better place.

  5. I so love this man and his talents. Monsieur Pepin has been such a big part of my cooking life. I always refer to Jacque’s videos for culinary ideas.

  6. For many years, I have followed Jacques Pepin, and I just love every single thing he makes and how he does it I’ve tried to follow him with my own recipes at home. If I could afford it, I’d have all of his cookbooks. He’s a wonderful kind superhuman and I wish he was someone I had known personally in in my life. I try to watch his his programs when he’s on and follow him as much as I can. If only things like this were available in my time, I would’ve been a chef I love to cook though I don’t say I’m as good as any other chef I’m not not even close, but I try thank you for all the years you’ve given us!

  7. I have watched numerous cooking shows that Jacques has done, solo and with Julia, and loved all of them. My favorite presentations are your Facebook short videos. It is so intimate, relaxed, and I have learned so much watching your instruction in the shorts. I have used your techniques and made some of your recipes and they have become staples in my repertoire. To my family, I refer to you as “my grandfather,” because if I could have chosen a grandfather, it would have been you. My family anlways knows who I’m talking anbout when I say, “my grandfather!” Only in great admiration, for your great teaching, patience, ability to show ways to adapt, to create positive change, and positive outcomes. I love how you take a little bit of nothing and make something wonderful out of it. You are truly inspirational. Thank you so much for years of fabulous entertainment and instruction. Much love to you and your family.

  8. Thank you, what a wonderful article. I’ve enjoyed watching and learning cooking with Jacques Pepin. I’ve saved many of his recipes that I will continue to prepare for my family. When I’m feeling too tired to prepare a meal for my family, I watch one of his videos and when he ends with “Happy Cooking,” I find I have a renewed vigor to go and cook.

  12. Great article ! Wanted to read more about Jacques. I started watching him onPBS and Instagram and Ticktock . I have learned so much from him. My mother went to cooking school in Germany and I was so lucky to have learned from her. I realize how wonderful to have learned from our ancestors . I would love to meet Jacque some day. I am going to purchase his latest book, Can’t wait to read it.
I wish the young people in our society now could watch him and learn to cook wonderful meals for their family with just a few inexpensive items, such as the stale bread one. They should stop buying all the prepared bad food. There would be a lot less children going hungry everyday. Thank you for all you have taught me and more in the future.
    He is a amazing teacher!
