Answering the Call: BU’s Essential Workers
Meet some of the dedicated people keeping the University running during the pandemic and preparing for students’ return
When COVID-19 struck Boston in March, most BU employees began working remotely from home. But not everyone. Dedicated teams of essential workers have been coming to campus throughout the pandemic, making sure the University continues to function and that it’s ready to welcome students back next month.
BU Today asked some of these essential personnel, who range from maintenance and grounds workers to office staff to teachers and video support, to record their daily routine and send us the footage, which we’ve compiled into one video. Have a look. And thank you to all of these dedicated BU community members.
