The Boston University Alumni Association launched its first podcast series, Proud to BU, on November 8, 2018. Host Jeff Murphy (Questrom’06), associate director of alumni career resources for Alumni Relations, interviews accomplished alums, including actor Russell Hornsby (CFA’95), who appears in the critically acclaimed 2018 film The Hate U Give; Cat Berman (COM’97), CEO and cofounder of CNote; Fred Santarpia (MET’08), former chief digital officer at Condé Nast; and Jenny Gruber (ENG’99), a NASA aerospace engineer.

“BU has so many fascinating and successful alumni who are excited to share the lessons they learned with our community,” says Murphy. “It’s an honor to be able to share these stories in hopes they help others looking to advance their own careers.”

Each 30-minute interview is available on all popular platforms, including iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, and Stitcher. Streaming will also be made available on the podcast’s official homepage, bu.edu/alumni/podcast.
