There are 3 comments on Panel Debates Lessons from Ebola

  1. Debate? Either the writer for this article is biased and only presented one side of the debate, or the “panel” was a completely one sided monologue. Regardless, shame on BU for not presenting both sides of a story when they claim to.

  2. Ebola surfaced decades ago but seemed constrained to far off lands. Now we see it can be treated with tools on hand and effort. Dengue and other ugly viruses also appear to be far away. With global climate change, what used to be far away virus and vector systems are coming to the western temperate locales. Given this experience with Ebola, now seems a good time to elevate advanced western research efforts into vaccines and therapeutics for some of these “new” threats to public health.
