Paris in Kenmore Square
Petit Robert Bistro and Boston’s French Library team up for food and Francophilia

If your plans for a summer tour of Europe went belly-up in this economy, Kenmore Square mainstay Petit Robert Bistro offers a (slightly) cheaper alternative. Chef Jacky Robert partners with the Boston French Library tonight to offer a three-course meal for $50 — ordered, served, and discussed entirely en français.
Native speakers and newcomers are both welcome, and French Library hosts will be on hand to help with vocabulary and grammar, as in “please” (s’il vous plaît), “thank you very much” (merci beaucoup), and the always important “where is the rest room?” (où est le WC?).
Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. at Petit Robert, 468 Commonwealth Ave. To reserve a place, call the restaurant at 617-375-0699, s’il vous plaît. For more information, visit the French Library Web site.
Et merci beaucoup.
