COM’s Alan Holliday dies at 72

Alan Holliday, founder of the advertising firm Hill, Holliday, Connors and Cosmopulos, died on Monday. The cause was pulmonary failure, according to the Boston Globe.
Holliday was a retired assistant professor of advertising at the College of Communication and a former faculty advisor for AdLab, the student-run advertising agency at COM.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in Hingham.
