Go Greek!
Greek life recruitment events

Greek life can get a bad rap, but joining a fraternity or sorority isn’t all about parties and more parties. More than three-quarters of Fortune 500 executives pledged during their college days, and fraternities and sororities across the country raise approximately $10 million for charities every year.
On Thursday, January 22, BU’s Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) will hold an open house in the Backcourt of the George Sherman Union from 7 to 9 p.m. Possible recruits can meet with each chapter on an informal basis, get a feel for fraternity life, and pick up schedules for the upcoming week of pledging.
Sororities, part of the Panhellenic Council, will host their open house the same evening, from 8 to 11 p.m. in the GSU’s Metcalf Ballroom. Thursday is the last day for women to sign up for recruitment. Registration is required for this event.
