Book by Tim Longman is a Finalist for the both the Melville J. Herskovits Prize and the Bethwell Ogot Prize

Congratulations to the former Director of the BU African Studies Center, Dr. Timothy Longman! This week it was announced that his book, “Memory and Justice in Post-Genocide Rwanda” has been selected as a finalist for both the Melville J. Herskovits Prize and the Bethwell Ogot Prize. The winners of both awards will be announced at the annual meeting of the African Studies Association in November.
