Enterprise Risk Management Programs
BU MET programs in enterprise risk management (ERM) integrate cutting-edge academic learnings with the proven management practices adhered to by leading global corporations. Our ten-course Master of Science in Enterprise Risk Management can be completed within 12 months on campus or 24 months online. The four-course Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management, which provides both academic and applied foundations in the sophisticated management practices used by today’s leading global corporations, can be completed in 8 months online or on campus. Students can enter the program spring, summer, or fall.
Coursework in the program encompasses resiliency planning, prevention, crisis management, business continuity management, and technology recovery. Our curriculum is updated continually to stay current with changing industry requirements, with a focus on employability of program graduates. Our alumni have gone on to work in organizations such as Price Waterhouse Coopers, New York Power Authority, Salesforce, KPMG, Marsh & McLennan, Boston Consulting Group, JP Morgan Chase, Biogen, Nike, and Suncor Energy (among many others).
Successful Enterprise Risk Management candidates come from a variety of backgrounds and distinguish themselves through their strong interest in the integrated worldwide business environment. They possess a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent, and an upper-division GPA of 3.0 or higher. Candidates without the aforementioned academic background should be prepared for intense coursework. We welcome early- or mid-career professionals who want to advance up the job ladder, mid-career leaders who need better ERM skills to improve their decision-making, and applicants with no work experience.
