Nineteen Supply Chain Management (SCM) students completed their capstone project requirement this Fall. These projects are required in the course AD 804, Capstone Project for SCM, which combines online and on-campus students who work in teams to solve real-world problems. The following projects were completed:

  1. Comparison of Logistic Systems Options, Willimantic Valley Corporation (project completed by Jiayi Pan, Bowen Wei, Christine Leaf, Baiqi Hu, and Olusoga Awonuga);
  2. Development of Inventory Policies for Repair Parts, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), project completed by Ningyi Yang, Nick Gong, Dave Yazbeck, Florencia Irena, and Scott Craig;
  3. Creation of Supply Chain Resiliency and Emergency Plans for Small Grocers and Bodegas, City of Boston (project completed by Andrea Cary, Joe Wu, Zihan Mu, Renata Guazzini, Luis Mangual, and Nauman Savul).

The projects were supervised by Prof. John Maleyeff, with oversight by SCM coordinator Prof. Canan Gunes Corlu. SCM capstone projects are completed every Fall and Spring semester. If your firm is interested in participating by providing us with an upcoming project, please contact Dr. Corlu (canan@bu.edu).
