Academic Progress and Graduation
University Policy
College of General Studies Policy
Students who have a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or higher, completed all CGS course requirements, have proper electives, and have earned a minimum of 63 units, are eligible to continue into one of the undergraduate degree-granting schools and colleges at the University. Such continuation does not hold for the College of Fine Arts, which requires an audition or the submission of a portfolio upon which eligibility of transfer is evaluated. Completion of these unit hours places a student approximately halfway through the 128 unit hours required for most of the baccalaureate degree programs within the University.
Students with a cumulative grade point average below 2.00 will not continue into a degree program at Boston University.
