This course explores the experiences of Latinx populations in the U.S. and the issues that shape their political, social, and economic outcomes. Students explore topics including race and ethnicity, class and wealth, language, and gender and sexuality, among others. Effective Fall 2026, this course fulfills a single requirement in each of the following BU Hub areas: The Individual in Community, Social Inquiry 2, Research and Information Literacy.
