Undergraduate Prerequisites: (CASLS350) and two LS 400-level courses, or consent of instructor. - Explores the development of medieval Iberian prose traditions in Castilian, Latin, Arabic and Hebrew through oral storytelling, translation, and manuscript culture. Readings in genres such as framed narratives and chronicles in the context of religious, linguistic, and gender difference. Exact texts vary by semester.
