Prerequisites: CASLS 350 - May be taken twice for credit if topics are different. Topic for Fall 2026: España impresa y multimediática: De Bernarda Alba a Paquita Salas. Examines representations of Spain across literature, visual culture, film, television, and digital media, analyzing how cultural works from the 20th and 21st centuries have interpreted, contested, and reimagined Spanish identities and historical memory. Effective Fall 2026, this course fulfills a single unit in each of the following BU HUB areas: Aesthetic Exploration, Critical Thinking, The Individual in Community.
