Hindi through Indian Food Stories

Prerequisites: CASLN 212 or equivalent proficiency in Hindi. - Through readings and discussions of food culture in India develops advanced skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking modern Hindi. Considers how food reflects India's social history and culture, exploring topics including globalization, popular media, health, education, and gender. Effective Fall 2026, this course fulfills a single requirement in each of the following BU Hub areas: Global Citizenship and Intercultural Literacy, Oral and/or Signed Communication, Social Inquiry 1 .
