Parisian Views: Literature and Art of Everyday Life

Prerequisites: First Year Writing Seminar (e.g., CASWR 100 or WR 120). - Examines how nineteenth-century Paris inspired artistic creation through its cultivation of a variety of new ways of seeing, through readings of novels and poetry alongside painting, early photography, and forms of entertainment that showcased everyday life.
