Arab Cities: Architecture, Politics, Religion

This course presents a historical overview of Arab cities through architecture, politics, and religion. It considers modern Arab Ottoman cities, colonial cities, Palestinian cities. It also looks at refugee camps, Gulf cities, development, informality, de-development, destruction, and post-war reconstructions.
