Nutrition Counseling
College is an important transitional time for students. On one hand, college presents a wonderful opportunity to cultivate food preferences and lifestyle practices to promote a lifetime of health and wellbeing. On the other hand, navigating in a sea of overwhelming food choices and constant social pressures is very challenging. The Sargent Choice Nutrition Center will provide you with the knowledge and expertise you need to meet your health goals. With support from Student Health Services, Dining Services and Athletics, every student is entitled to one nutrition counseling session with a Sargent Choice Nutrition Center registered dietitian at no charge. Students at nutritional risk for any reason are eligible for more sessions.
In the video above, registered dietitian Lisa Ferreira describes how the Sargent Choice Nutrition Center works with students with special dietary considerations.
