The Institute for the Classical Tradition (ICT) at Boston University is affiliated with the Department of Classical Studies. The ICT is the North American base of the International Society for the Classical Tradition (ISCT) and the Boston Univesity ANRW (Aufstieg und Niedergang der römischen Welt / Rise and Decline of the Roman World) Research Center, both run in conjunction with the University of Tübingen, and serves as the editorial offices for the International Journal of the Classical Tradition (IJCT) and the multi-volume encyclopedic work ANRW (Aufstieg und Niedergang der römischen Welt / Rise and Decline of the Roman World). The Institute also serves as the North American Distribution Center for Der Neue Pauly. Enzyklopädie der Antike and certain other publications of J.B. Metzler Verlag; members of the ISCT receive a discount when ordering those publications through our offices.
