FIRST mentoring is an option and starts with training and meeting your teams in the fall; between Jan. and mid –February, you will spend about 8 hours each week with your FRC team during the weekdays and/or weekends. FIRST mentors travel by public transportation and enjoy extra networking to employers and sponsors. This year’s FIRST mentors will be supported in part by the founder of Boston Scientific.
Do you choose to mentor a FIRST robotics team at a local high school with other BU engineers?
We meet Fridays at 2 p.m. and take turns visiting local schools. TISP requires about 3 hours each week; please tell us when you are not available due to another paid position.

By applying for this highly-selective, paid and fun position as an Inspiration Ambassador, you agree to regularly attend meetings (unless class conflicts) and will find your own substitute if you cannot make an outreach visit at the last minute.
