Requestor and Share Collection Manager Information

The BU Faculty member who owns the data placed in this Collection and is responsible for ensuring payment of ongoing storage costs. This person will also be the primary Share Collection Manager – a technical role with responsibilities including managing collection members, managing data permissions, and receiving important service communications. Additional Share Collection Managers can be added upon request.

Research Archive Information

The Collection name is visible to all Globus users through the Globus user interface.
Storage allocations are made in whole-tape-increments. Current tape-cartridges have a nominal capacity of 20 TB and a usable capacity of approximately 18 TB. Please request a multiple of 20.

Financial Contact Information

Research Computing will contact the designated financial administrator for payment of all storage allocation costs. Payments are sent via Internal Service Request (ISR) for each Fiscal Year.
