Collaboration and Teamwork in Writing Classrooms
Tuesdays October 20, October 27, November 3, and November 10; 12:30-1:45 (on Zoom). Register here to express interest in the seminar.
Why do we so often teach writing as an individual activity when so much real-world writing is collaborative, both in academic and non-academic settings? What different kinds of theoretical groundwork can we draw on when we think intentionally about teaching collaboration? How can we build in meaningful opportunities for students to collaborate in our classes beyond simple “turn and talk” pair activities? Join us for readings and discussions applicable to WR 111 through WR 153 (and beyond).
