Grace Darko

Inspired by the Sankofa philosophy, Grace Darko is passionate about creating inclusive, supportive learning communities where students are empowered to translate their passions into meaningful impact.
Grace has held roles in residential life, program and event management, curriculum development, intercultural competence education, athletics, and student conduct. She has worked with institutions such as Brown University and Columbia University and has also served as an independent contractor with the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), contributing to equity-centered program design and logistical coordination. She has led initiatives that foster belonging and mentored professional and student leaders through strategy and equity-minded approaches.
She holds a B.A. in Africana & Latin American Studies with a minor in Global Public & Environmental Health from Colgate University. Originally from The “Boogie Down” Bronx of New York City, Grace enjoys volunteering with local organizations and performing across the Northeast, using music and storytelling to foster connection and reflection.
