Program Administrator

Mateo Pita (they/them) is thrilled to join the BU family, and help make an impact in the student body. Before their time at BU, Mateo previously worked at BAGLY as a Marketing Coordinator, supporting queer and trans youth in Boston and beyond. Prior to their most recent role, they worked at their alma mater Suffolk University, where they served as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving working with Student Ambassadors to receive gifts and financial support to help make positive change through funding for all students within the Suffolk community.

During their undergraduate career at Suffolk University, they found their passion working as a Resident Director, supporting students of all walks of life and allowing them to thrive on campus. In their free time, Mateo is also visual artist and loves to lose track of time doodling, and making arts and crafts
