Elliot has been involved in a variety of research projects linked to sexuality, gender, health, criminalization, homonationalism, aesthetic labor, erotic capital, and queer theory. Their current research explores trans masculine sex workers’ emotional and embodied labor practices and the gendered negotiation processes they must navigate within the context of genderplay and sexual subversion.
