BU Sociology hosts a number of events and speakers throughout the academic year. The department organizes several Seminar Series talks each semester, which are held on select Wednesdays at noon. In addition, each Spring we hold the annual Albert Morris Lecture. Our faculty members also run a number of workshops on themes ranging from global health to migration, population health, and urban inequalities.
