Heather Nicholson

Heather Nicholson is the assistant director of academic services. She is the course instructor for the SAR HP150 Sargent First-Year Experience Seminar, a course for all first-year Sargent students that integrates them into the Sargent community and informs their future academic decisions. Heather also serves as the academic counselor to Sargent College first-year students and is the advisor to undeclared students. Heather directs all incoming first-year student recruitment events, meets with prospective students, and runs all academic orientations for incoming first-year students. She advises Sargent College students transferring majors within the college, those interested in studying abroad, and students declaring a minor.  She certifies all Sargent College student-athletes in meeting NCAA academic standards. She serves as supervisor to the student leadership organizations: Dean’s Hosts and Student Government. She serves as Title IX Coordinator and is a member of Sargent College Academic Policies & Procedures Committee working closely with the faculty, staff, and students to ensure that policies are being met.
