Congratulations to Sargent Clinical Professor and Associate Dean for Digital Learning and Innovation Karen Jacobs, OT, EdD, OTR, CPE, FAOTA, on the successful pilot of the Optimizing Artificial Intelligence training program. Developed for undergraduate and graduate students at Sargent College, the online training aims to prepare students for the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence technology in their professional endeavors. The training program will be available to all Sargent College students in April 2024.

Supported by a Future of Learning: AI Grant (FLAG) provided by Digital Learning & Innovation’s Shipley Center, the project team includes post-professional OTD faculty members Liat Gafni-Lachter, PhD, OTD, OTR, Amy Lamb, OTD, OTR, FAOTA, and Karen Duddy, OT, OTD, OTR, as well as Sargent College Writing Program Coordinator, David Sechrest, and undergraduate computer science student, George Trammell.Â
