Convergent Hire Brings Together Engineering and Biology

Following a national search, Jeroen Eyckmans has been appointed the newest convergent hire in Biomedical Engineering and Biology. Eyckmans’ research sits at the intersection of engineering and biology, asking fundamental biological questions about tissue repair, aging, extracellular matrix organization, and multicellular dynamics, and addressing them using engineered tissues, quantitative imaging, synthetic biology, perturbation platforms, and computational analysis.
