Yoshikatsu “Yoshi” Takeda

Yoshikatsu “Yoshi” Takeda is a seasoned global business executive with extensive experience in strategic leadership, international expansion, and brand positioning across North America, Europe, and Asia. He currently serves as Director of the Global Business Department at MIKI HOUSE Co., Ltd. (Osaka, Japan), where he drives global strategy and growth initiatives for the company’s luxury children’s apparel business.

Mr. Takeda began his career at MIKI HOUSE after earning a law degree from the University of Tokyo, gaining experience across human resources, merchandising, and corporate strategy. He later earned an MBA and an MS in Information Systems from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, reflecting a strong foundation in both business management and analytics.

Based in New York, Mr. Takeda established MIKI HOUSE’s New York Representative Office in 2004 and has held leadership roles, including President of MIKI HOUSE Americas, Inc. and MIKI HOUSE U.K. Ltd. In these roles, he led key initiatives including flagship store openings in major global cities and strategic partnerships with leading luxury retailers. Mr. Takeda is also actively involved in nonprofit and alumni communities, including advisory roles with international nonprofit United Planet and participation in the New York Japanese MBA Association.
