Valeria Gálvez Moreno

Valeria is a driven, globally minded finance professional currently working as a Ratings Associate at Moody’s in New York City. Born and raised in Mexico, she brings a strong international and cross‑cultural perspective to her work, paired with a deep understanding of global markets and business dynamics.

Known for her strong work ethic, leadership, resilience, and collaborative mindset, Valeria supports credit analysis for companies across consumer‑facing sectors, particularly retail and apparel, applying financial modeling and liquidity analysis to inform rating decisions. During her time at Boston University, she served as Treasurer for the Boston University Latin American Student Association, studied abroad at Università Bocconi in Milan, and worked as an Alumni Engagement Assistant at the Questrom Feld Center, supporting alumni and student connection initiatives.

A passionate advocate for mentorship and representation, Valeria remains actively engaged in giving back to the Questrom community and empowering students, especially those from international and underrepresented backgrounds, through guidance, connection, and support as a member of the Young Questrom Leaders Alumni Council.
