“It’s was great to recognize how many of the concepts we learned in class each week could be applied immediately to real situations in my job, making the learning relevant and impactful.”

Meghan Holy enrolled in the OMBA program with a specific goal in mind—to expand her business acumen, specifically related to financial, analytical thinking, and leadership skills. She was surprised at how quickly the modular program helped her do just that in real time.

“The Mods helped me immediately apply new frameworks and concepts to my current role, while strengthening the way I analyze problems and make decisions,” she says. “It’s was great to recognize how many of the concepts we learned in class each week could be applied immediately to real situations in my job, making the learning relevant and impactful.”

When she decided to pursue my MBA, Meghan also wanted a program that would allow her to learn from peers from across the United States and around the world, professionals who think in unconventional, big-picture ways like she does. Over the past two years, the program has given her exactly that, supporting both her personal and professional growth.

Meghan loved the OMBA  approach to moving away from siloed knowledge to learning through integration and real-life immediate application. She also valued the access to Questrom’s world-class faculty, a globally diverse students, and innovatively designed courses all within the accessibility of her home city of Chicago.

“I would most certainly recommend OMBA to someone considering an MBA program,” says Meghan. “The flexibility of the two-year program, the integrated modular experience versus a traditional disciplined approach, and the affordability are all compelling factors that make OMBA an excellent choice for working professionals.”

Meghan plans to begin exploring her next career opportunity in the spring. She’s confident that her MBA degree and her BU network will play a meaningful role in opening doors and well-position her for the next step.
