Hector Meneses, Jr. is a Financial Analyst at PPG in the Global Infrastructure Services division and the CFO of Housing Us, a mission-driven organization focused on redefining real estate investment. As CFO and one of the lead founders of Housing Us, Hector is dedicated to creating wealth-building opportunities for underserved and historically marginalized communities through home ownership. The company, which is a Certified B Corporation (pending), aims to generate social and financial returns that investors can be proud of, while empowering individuals to reach their full potential through home ownership.
With a robust background in corporate finance, Hector has honed his expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and data analytics. He has held positions at organizations including PPG, McMaster-Carr, and PrivCo, where he played a pivotal role in financial data management, process improvements, and the strategic deployment of financial resources to drive growth and operational efficiency.
Hector is also deeply committed to giving back to the community. He currently serves as a New Jersey Advisory Board Member with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.. During his time at Boston University, Hector received several accolades, including the Scarlet Key Award, Cornerstone Award, and the Outstanding Accomplishment in Community Development Award. He was recognized on the Dean’s List and was active in leadership roles as a Questrom Ascend mentor and Vice President of Finance for the BU Student Government. He also served as the Vice Chair of the BU Young Alumni Council.
Hector holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentrating in Accounting and Finance from Boston University.
