Francois Brochet is a Professor of Accounting at Boston University. Prior to joining BU, he was an Assistant Professor at the Harvard Business School for six years, and a Visiting Assistant Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management for one year. He received a MS in Management from HEC Paris in 2001, and his PhD from New York University in 2007. Prior to entering academia, he worked in M&A advisory for LCF Rothschild in Paris, and buy-side equity research for Commerzbank in Frankfurt, and Allianz Asset Management in Munich.
