Finna Huang

President and Commissioner, Sekar Bumi Founder, The Jakarta Women & Children Clinic

Joining her father’s frozen-goods business Sekar Bumi as President Commissioner, Finna Huang has proved she is a fierce competitor.

In 2017 she took over the frozen-food division of her father’s consumer-goods company, Sekar Bumi. Her father, Harry Susilo, founded the company in 1966 to support his family after his father passed away, as the eldest of 12 children. The company has grown from one that trades in fish to a multi-national conglomerate that specializes in manufacturing specialty seafood and frozen foods.

Recently, Huang has also been involved in the healthcare sector. She founded Medicare Indonesia in 2003, and the Jakarta Women’s and Children’s Clinic (JWCC). JWCC provides high-quality medical care for women and children, filling a gap in the market based on her insight as a woman.

Huang graduated with honors from Babson College, USA, and obtained her MBA degree from Boston University, focusing on strategic management. Before joining Susilo’s business, she worked at Dell Computer Asia and Accenture Strategy Consulting.
