Ching Fung Teai

Flexibility. Quality. Diversity. These are the primary qualities ChingFung Teai was seeking in an MBA program in the United States. She found all three–and more–in the new Questrom Online MBA (OMBA).

An undergraduate of Cal State Long Beach, ChingFung has worked in global financial services for more than a decade. In that time, she’s gained extensive knowledge of the Asian commodities markets, and worked with clients all over the world. But her professional network was primarily made up of people in the financial services industry. ChingFung is happy with her career and her company, but for her, one of the most compelling benefits of the Questrom OMBA was the professional diversity of the inaugural class.

“When you’re in an industry for 10 years, the people you tend to meet are within that sector,” says ChingFung. “It’s always the same kind of people. At this stage in my career, I’m ready to meet diverse people with diverse backgrounds—professional from pharmaceuticals, from the arts, from education. ChingFung plans to continue to work in her field and for her company, but she’s ready to move up in the organization and take on more responsibility. She knows the OMBA will help her take the next step into a managerial role.
